Work and play from your new waterfront home at Legacy Landing. The mighty Columbia River begins it's 1,200 mile journey to the Pacific Ocean in the Canadian Rockies of British Columbia. The river flows mainly southwest through Central Washington before taking a gentle southeast turn near the confluence with the Wenatchee River.
This private gated waterfront community offers direct access to the river and the Apple Capitol Loop Trail, a 10+ mile urban bicycle/pedestrian trail along the west and east shores of the Columbia River.
Just 15 miles to the south is Mission Ridge Ski and Board Resort. The sprawling winter sports arena boasts of a 2,000 acre basin with 4 chair lifts and 36 designated runs.
The Alpine Lakes and Glacier Peaks Wilderness areas are a short 30 minutes drive to the west, offering some of the most scenic and challenging hiking terrain in the Pacific Northwest with over 2,500 miles of recreational trails.
A scenic 45 minute drive to the north takes you to the shores of Lake Chelan with near endless opportunity for recreation, world class wine, dining and shopping.
Need to be "connected'? Worry not... Douglas County is home to the Fastest Fiber Internet in Washington State and Pangborn Memorial Airport is just 7 miles from your front door. Daily flights into and out of Sea-Tac International Airport mean you "are connected' digitally and physically.
